Hiring of New Sales Engineer Creates Added Value for Customers at Strouse

Strouse is pleased to announce the addition of Ian Hamilton to the sales team. Ian will be covering the Northeastern US territory from Maryland up to Maine, excluding Pennsylvania. This new hire for Strouse provides more comprehensive coverage across the US and internationally.

Ian is a graduate from Penn State with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Microbiology. He has experience working in the medical industry for the medical supplies and medical device manufacturer Becton Dickinson as well as Walter Reid Army Institute of Research.

"I bring a varied technical background that will allow me to work with customers to identify specific needs," said Ian Hamilton, Sales Engineer at Strouse. "This experience allows me to understand the functionality behind many medical technology applications."

"Ian, as a Sales Engineer has hit the ground running and is actively participating in the design of adhesive solutions for our customers," says Sue Chambers, President at Strouse. "We are certainly more than tape, we are focused on providing our customer's solutions to problems that frequently hadn't even occurred to them. Ian's analytical skills and fresh perspective will contribute to shortening our customer's time-line for getting products to market."

"My goal is to provide customers with adhesive solutions that save them money, boost their efficiency, and bring their ideas to realization. I am also focused on growing sales for Strouse and moving us deeper into the medical and electronics markets," said Hamilton. "I have a great team and environment to work in and I'm excited about the opportunity. I plan to be very successful here."
