Hill-Rom Wins Gold Brandon Hall Learning Award

BATESVILLE, Ind., Nov. 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Hill-Rom (NYSE: HRC), a leading worldwide manufacturer and provider of medical technologies and related services for the health care industry, today announced that the company has won a coveted Brandon Hall gold award for excellence in the Best Custom Content category. The Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards are presented annually by Brandon Hall Research, one of the leading research firms in training and development. Now in its 14th year, the Awards program showcases exceptional work in the use of eLearning technology.

Hill-Rom's winning entry was for their TotalCare(R) Connect Bed eLearning course. This custom-designed, self-paced, interactive eLearning tool is used to help hospital caregivers learn how to fully utilize the features of the bed to deliver safe and effective care to immobile patients. The Hill-Rom TotalCare Connect Bed is used primarily in Intensive Care Units in hospitals throughout the country. Hill-Rom has partnered with i.d.e.a.s. Learning to create a series of story-based eLearning courses for its product line of patient care medical devices and the TotalCare Connect Bed eLearning course is one in this series.
