Date:1/10/2008

For most adults and children, the best vegetables are the ones you can't

taste

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Yotta Bar(R), developed by two Michigan parents as a result of struggling to get their two-year old to eat his vegetables, provides one full serving of hidden vegetables and fruit in a low-calorie granola bar with three fruit flavors. Yotta Bars are now available nationwide at Whole Foods stores for those consumers needing to sneak extra servings of vegetables and fruits into their diets.

"How many times have we all heard the phrase, 'you have to eat your vegetables'", asks Undercover Vegetable Company(R) Co-founder Melissa Ewing. "According to the USDA, 89 percent of Americans today do not eat the daily recommended five to nine servings of fruits and vegetables per day. Most people you know fall into that category and need to supplement their diets with an easy and appetizing way to eat healthier."

Each Yotta Bar tastes like all natural cherry, orange or apple-cinnamon, but contains 6-9 different vegetables and one full serving of vegetables and fruit in each bar. In addition to vegetables, Yotta Bars contain eight other simple ingredients - oats, brown rice syrup, pear juice concentrate, crisp rice, evaporated cane juice, dried apples and canola oil. States Ewing, "Part of the idea from the beginning was to have a clean and pronounceable ingredient list."

Yotta Bars are an excellent source of Vitamin C, a good source of Vitamin A and iron, are cholesterol-free and contain only 120 calories. The bars are low fat, low sodium and do not contain refined sugars, trans fats, dairy, soy, Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO's) or preservatives.

Whole Foods Market, the world's largest retailer of natural and organic foods is introducing the Undercover Vegetable Company's Yotta Bars in its 260 stores across the U.S. in January 2008.

Yotta Bars suggested retail is $1.49 - $1.59 per bar. Yotta Bars are also available online at http://www.amazon.com, http://www.fitfuel.com and on QVC's Home Shopping Channel.
