Heroes Find Love, Love Finds Heroes
Date:2/10/2009

COSTA MESA, Calif., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Firefighter and wife help others find love while giving back to heroes and charity. Veteran firefighter Bryan Russell, from the "OC," and his wife, Jennifer, created DateAHero.com. Jennifer found the hero in her life when she met firefighter Bryan - now both are striving to help others find love on their dating website dedicated to "heroes."

At least one time or other someone asks, "Do you know any single people?" In Jenn and Bryan's case, Jenn's single friends constantly asked if Bryan knew any single firefighters. Over the years, the same question was posed, "How can I meet a hero?" Trying to find a hero is not an easy task, as many have found. Due to ever-present professionalism of firefighters and police officers, it is difficult to approach them, especially on a romantic level. It is nearly impossible to meet anyone from the military, because of their duties that keep them out of the public's access. Off duty and out of uniform, these heroes just blend anonymously into the crowd.

Bryan and Jenn wanted to help others find the same love they found 10 years ago. So, Bryan and Jenn created DateAHero.com - a dating website where single firefighters, law enforcement, and military could meet the people who want to meet them. Day in and day out, these individuals risk their lives to make the United States the best and safest country in the world, yet they receive no individual recognition. No one has given these heroes an opportunity to find their own heroes in love. "We want to acknowledge the contributions that all the unsung heroes in our society have made," says Russell.

Fortunately, DateAHero.com has been there to fill that niche. No dating websites provide an all-free access and membership to all military personnel, firefighters, and police officers. This offer is not a free trial or limited access but complete and total access to the site without ever spending a dime. Other heroes like nurses, paramedics, teachers and more receive significant discounts of 25-50% to full access membership on DateAHero.com. Also, members can nominate a hero in their life for free membership. No other website gives tribute to all of society's heroes like DateAHero.

"In addition to recognizing our heroes," Russell states, "we want to give back to charities." DateAHero.com will host several events where members and others can meet. DateAHero will donate a portion of the proceeds to charity. Russell says, "With the addition of innovative features and a completely new look to the site this should be a banner year for our family-run business."

Everyone should have a hero in his or her life. Don't let this Valentine's Day go by without finding your hero. Find them at DateAHero.com.
