Date:10/16/2007

LANCASTER, Pa., Oct. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Herley Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: HRLY) announced today that its Farmingdale, New York subsidiary, Herley Farmingdale, has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $5 million by EDO Communication & Countermeasures Systems. Herley Farmingdale will produce high power amplifiers for EDO's CVRJ (CREW Vehicle Receiver/Jammer) system.
