Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) August 11, 2013

Heritage Woods of Yorkville – a BMA Management affordable assisted living community – invites the community to a Country Fair on Aug. 16. The fair will take place from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on
Friday, Aug. 16 at Heritage Woods

The community, which is located at 242 Greenbriar Rd. in Yorkville, Illinois, serves older adults who need some help to maintain their independence.

“We are excited to host our country fair, and we look forward to the community joining us for another great time at Heritage Woods,” said Lisa Martinez, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of Yorkville.

A magician and clown will wow guests with their tricks. A petting zoo and face painting is available for children – and the young at heart.

Hot dogs, popcorn, barbecue and other snacks will be served. The fair is open to the public; there is no charge to attend.

For more information, call 630-882-6502.

Heritage Woods of Yorkville is the only community in Kendall County that is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program. The affordable assisted living community is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., of Bradley, Illinois.

“We provide older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home,” says Martinez.

The community combines residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications, and a variety of convenience and support services.

Residents live in private apartments that they furnish and decorate to their tastes. Each of the studio and one- bedroom floor plans include a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually- controlled heating and air conditioning, and emergency alert system.

Certified nursing assistants are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Meals, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.

“Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and participate in activities and special programs,” says Martinez.

BMA Management, the company that operates Heritage Woods of Yorkville, is the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

“Our focus,” says Rod Burkett, President and CEO of BMA Management, “is to provide residents of Heritage Woods with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve and the help and assistance they need. Our emphasis is on helping each resident achieve and maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible.”

Communities managed by BMA include the Heritage Woods affordable assisted living communities in Batavia, Bolingbrook, Chicago, Dwight, Gurnee, Manteno, McHenry, Ottawa and Plainfield.

BMA Management also manages the Heritage Woods assisted living community in Huntley, the Churchview affordable assisted living community in Chicago, and the Heritage Woods affordable assisted living and memory care community in South Elgin.

BMA is the management company for the Deer Path affordable assisted living community for adults with physical disabilities that is under development in Huntley and the St. Anthony affordable assisted living community for older adults that is under development in Lansing, Illinois. Both communities are scheduled to open this month. Reservations are being accepted.
