Date:9/26/2013

Bradley, Illinois (PRWEB) September 26, 2013

Heritage Woods of McHenry, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is partnering with Cardiac Diagnostics to provide free bone density testing on Oct. 17.

The community, which is located at 4609 W. Crystal Lake Rd. in McHenry, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

“Your bone health is important to your overall health, so that is why we are inviting everyone to get their bone density checked at Heritage Woods this month,” said Jenneen Hansen, Director of Marketing for Heritage Woods of McHenry.

Area residents can stop by for bone density scans between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The Oct. 17 screening event is free and open to the public.

For more information about the bone density scans or Heritage Woods of McHenry, call 815-344-2690.

Heritage Woods of McHenry is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program.

The affordable assisted living community is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the leading provider of assisted living in Illinois.

The community combines residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications and the availability of a variety of convenience and support services.

Residents live in private apartments that they furnish and decorate to their tastes. Each of the studio and one-bedroom floor plans include a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning, and emergency ale
