(PRWEB) June 11, 2013

Heritage Woods of Dwight, a BMA affordable assisted living community, is hosting a performance by the Ladies of Faith at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 17.

The community, which is located at 701 E. Mazon in Dwight, Illinois, serves seniors of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.

"Come and enjoy an afternoon of fun as these amazing ladies sing hymns and tell jokes," says Becky Gish, Resident Services Coordinator for Heritage Woods of Dwight.

The performance is open to the public. There is no charge to attend.

For more information, call 815-584-9280.

The Heritage Woods of Dwight affordable assisted living community is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., the largest provider of assisted living in Illinois.

The community combines a residential apartment-home environment with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications, and a variety of convenience and support services.

"We provide older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home," says Peg Spear, Director of Marketing.

Each of the private studio and one-bedroom apartments at Heritage Woods features a kitchenette, spacious bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually-controlled heating and air conditioning, and an emergency alert system.

Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All three meals each day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.

"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in activities and special programs," says Spear.

Based in Bradley, Illinois, BMA Management operates 36 assisted living, senior living and memory care communities that together house nearly 3,400 homes and apartments.

"Our focus," says Rod Burkett, President and CEO of BMA Management, "is to provide residents with the love, compassion and dignity that they deserve and the help and assistance that they need. Our emphasis is on helping each resident to acheive and maintain as much independence as possible for as long as possible."

Communities managed by BMA include the Heritage Woods affordable assisted living communities in Bolingbrook, Manteno, Ottawa, Plainfield, Watseka and Yorkville, Illinois.
