Heritage Woods of Chicago, a BMA affordable assisted living community, will host a line dancing class at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1.
The community, which is located on Chicago's west side at 2800 W. Fulton St. in Chicago, Illinois, serves low-income older adults, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
“Come get your groove on and step to the beat,” said Cindy Gladney, Heritage Wood’s Director of Marketing. “You will meet great friends while trying something new. Bring your family and friends to join the fun.”
Light refreshments will be served.
There is no charge to attend the line dancing classes that are offered on the first Thursday of each month.

Seniors also can call Gladney if they need help arranging transportation to and from Heritage Woods.
The Heritage Woods of Chicago affordable assisted living community is certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program and is managed by BMA Management, Ltd., of Bradley, Illinois.
The community combines residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, help with medications, and a variety of convenience and support services.
Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, are on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Three meals per day, housekeeping and laundry are among the included services.
"Residents also benefit from all of the opportunities that are available to socialize with friends and neighbors and to participate in activities and special events," says Gladney.
