Heritage Woods of Benton is partnering with Franklin Hospital to offer a presentation on depression in older adults. The presentation will take place from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9 at Heritage Woods.
The community, which is located at 1305 Bailey Lane in Benton, Illinois, serves older adults of all incomes, including those on Medicaid, who need some help to maintain their independence.
“We want you to be able to recognize depression in older adults and learn how to cope with it,” said Benton Administrator Nicole Garrett.
The presentation is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
