Herbruck Alder to Convene Summit: 'Coming Together to Explain Healthcare Legislation'

CLEVELAND, Aug. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Herbruck Alder, a Cleveland-based employee benefits firm, will convene six medical insurance companies on Thursday, August 20 at LaCentre Conference Center in Westlake to explain the impact of pending federal healthcare legislation on employers.

"This conference is extraordinarily important because Americans across the country are discussing and debating the Obama administration's proposed healthcare changes," said Mark Alder president of Herbruck Alder. Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute, a non-profit research organization focused on health policy, will present the keynote address. Turner, who speaks extensively about promoting a more competitive, patient-centered healthcare marketplace, has been published in The Wall Street Journal and USA Today and is frequently interviewed on radio and television.

The participating companies are Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna, Kaiser Permanente, Medical Mutual of Ohio, and UnitedHealthcare.

The conference, which is by invitation to human resources and other decision-making executives, will take place from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
