HealthyCircles™ Partners With BridgeGate International™ to Extend Its Online Exchange of Health Information

Innovative online care management suite will leverage BridgeGate’s integration engine, connecting patients and providers for better flow of information

(PRWEB) March 1, 2010 -- HIMSS Annual Conference -- HealthyCircles ( a first of its kind online health solution that seamlessly connects patients, health care professionals and family members, has partnered with BridgeGate International (, a high-performance data integration and interoperability engine that connects parties to the HealthyCircles platform.

BridgeGate’s any-to-any integration solution allows for the secure, quick and straightforward exchange of electronic health data, no matter the data source, format or location. BridgeGate’s integration platform will be implemented by HealthyCircles and will enable the platform to receive large volumes of data from many individual patients and physicians, and in turn, securely and efficiently send that volunteered data to authorized parties including family members, pharmacies and other health care organizations. BridgeGate’s solution helps HealthyCircles connect patients and providers with virtually no code, making the on-boarding of new parties quick and easier for all involved.

“HealthyCircles represents the future of medicine because patients, health care providers, caregivers and larger health systems can now collaborate with each other in an innovative and convenient manner,” said James Mault, M.D., FACS, chairman and chief executive officer of HealthyCircles. “BridgeGate helps make these new connections possible with its scalable, nimble, cost effective integration solution. BridgeGate gives HealthyCircles unmatched flexibility as we continue to find new ways to connect providers to their patients.”

HealthyCircles was built by MyTelehealth Solutions, LLC, a San Diego-based online telemedicine company. The online platform aids patients and providers in detecting problems at the earliest stages with alert notifications that allow for quick responses to potential health crises. This coordination of care leverages familiar social networking technologies making patient and caregiver engagement a user-friendly process. Personal information entered into the HealthyCircles platform is private and secured through a HIPAA compliant database and synced with Microsoft HealthVault®. With HealthyCircles,
patients can access their health information immediately, by simply connecting
to the Internet, and health care professionals can deliver better care, to more patients, at a fraction of the cost.

“BridgeGate is very pleased that HealthyCircles has chosen our integration solution and expertise to power its cutting-edge platform. This combined solution will allow patients and health care providers to share critical information that can be used to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs,” said David Adams, president and chief executive officer of BridgeGate International. “HealthyCircles and BridgeGate are committed to improved information flow -- better integration means better information, which in the end helps lead to better patient health care.”

As part of HealthyCircles’ mission to improve global patient care and medical
practice efficiency, the company has partnered with BridgeGate and several of the nation’s leading health care organizations such as the American Medical Association, HERAE and MedImpact to build the comprehensive online health platform.
