Local Company Goes Beyond Providing Healthy Vending to Schools and Businesses to Bring Fresh, Locally Sourced, All-Natural Snacks and Beverages to Kicks 4 Kids Community Event

McHenry, IL (Vocus) June 17, 2010 -- Premier Wellness Chiropractic in association with Skills First Soccer and the McHenry Area Soccer Federation have partnered with McHenry’s Healthy U to be the exclusive provider of healthy sandwiches, snacks and beverages at the 1st annual Kicks 4 Kids soccer tournament on June 26th and 27th at McHenry Middle School. All proceeds from the 2010 tournament will be dedicated to the Options for Advocacy organization which has a mission to enhance and protect the lives of children and adults with disabilities.

“With childhood obesity rates tripling in less than 30 years, we know getting our kids excited about wellness, physical activity and healthy eating has to be a top priority,” said Dr. Anthony J. Ebel, a pediatric and wellness-certified chiropractor at Premier Wellness Chiropractic. “The Kicks for Kids event not only promotes wellness for our community, but brings the whole community together to support a worthy cause.”

“In looking for a concession’s partner, we were searching for one with like-minded goals,” said Dr. Ebel. “With a mission to bring healthy, all-natural snacks and beverages to Chicagoland’s schools, businesses and community events, choosing Healthy U for the first Kicks for Kids youth soccer tournament was a no brainer.”

McHenry, IL-based Healthy U, started as a healthy, all-natural vending company, was founded in the spring of 2009 and is the brainchild of pharmaceutical industry veteran T Hephner.
