OMAHA, Neb., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Today, Healthy Choice®, a brand of ConAgra Foods, introduces 11 new frozen meals for its Cafe Steamers, All Natural Entrees and Select Entrees product lines.

When faced with lunch and dinner meal decisions, especially in the cold winter months, consumers are looking for meals that keep them on track, and are not only healthy but also offer variety and convenience without compromising on taste. Continuing its efforts to reinvent healthy eating, Healthy Choice offers delicious and nutrient-rich foods that conveniently help to maintain a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle. These new frozen entrees are now available at grocery stores nationwide.

"Healthy Choice is all about making great food with healthy ingredients. We are not giving consumers 'diet food,' but rather delicious food – packed with protein, fiber, whole grains and antioxidants and free of any preservatives – that is intended to be a part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle," said Jonathan Gray, manager of research and development at ConAgra Foods.

Kicking off the line extensions is the introduction of Mediterranean-inspired flavors to Healthy Choice Cafe Steamers, which continue to bring fresh taste via the power of steaming technology. These Mediterranean-inspired Cafe Steamers feature ingredients such as whole grain pasta, 100% extra virgin olive oil and garden-ripe vegetables, freshly cooked in the patented DuoTray Steam Cooker. Building on the popularity of the Grilled Basil Chicken recipe, new Mediterranean varieties include Balsamic Garlic Chicken, Grilled Vegetables Mediterranean and Lemon Garlic Chicken and Shrimp.
