NEW YORK and PARSIPPANY, N.J., July 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthfirst has contracted with MD On-Line, Inc. to offer providers a free online service for electronic claims submissions. This new service makes it easier for physicians and other medical providers to do business with the health plan by streamlining the transaction process, resulting in a faster exchange of information, higher acceptance rates and quicker payment cycles. All healthcare providers who work with the organization can submit claims directly to Healthfirst via http://www.healthfirstny.com and http://www.healthfirstnj.com.

Providers utilizing the transaction portal can elect to submit only Healthfirst transactions free of charge or subscribe for all-payer connectivity. Claim data entry and batch upload options are made available through the portal.
