Healthcare Workers to St. Joseph Health System: Fair Election Agreement Now
Date:10/27/2007

ng those attending to support the workers were Assemblyman Jose Solorio, actor and activist Ed Begley, Jr., and the Rev. Wilfredo Benitez of Saint Anselm of Canterbury Episcopal Church.

"I'm proud to stand by our hospital workers," Solorio said. "They are the ones who are on the front lines of health care in our community, and it's only fitting that they have the ability to have a more formal role in improving patient care. I urge the leadership of the St. Joseph Health System to agree to a free and fair election agreement with these workers."

More information about the workers' organizing drive can be found online at http://www.JusticeAtStJHS.org.
