UHW members allege parent union suppressing free speech
SAN FRANCISCO, April 7, 2008 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Several healthcare workers who are members of United Healthcare Workers-West are suing their Washington-based parent organization, Service Employees International Union, alleging violations of their federal rights to speak freely and to participate in union activities.
