Healthcare Web Site Wins Top Industry Awards

HEALTHeCAREERS Network acknowledged for its overall appeal and site design.

Englewood, CO (Vocus) December 22, 2009 -- The 10th annual eHealthcare Leadership Awards recognized HEALTHeCAREERS among more than 1,100 entrants.

The 2009 eHealthcare awards were presented by Strategic Health Care Communications as a measure of online quality across 17 healthcare classifications and 12 categories such as Web design, interactive capabilities, content and E-Commerce opportunities.

HEALTHeCAREERS Network received awards for “Best Site Design” and “Best Overall Internet Site,” two of the three most popular categories among award entries.

“Judges looked at how sites compared with others in their organization’s classification,” Strategic Health Care stated in a media notice about the awards. “They also reviewed sites based on a proprietary, multi-point standard of excellence.”

“HEALTHeCAREERS is proud to be recognized for its place in the healthcare industry,” said Mike Tansey, chief executive officer at onTargetjobs, the parent company of HEALTHeCAREERS Network. “Our site is the gateway to a network of employment outlets and association career centers that connect the industry’s leading employers and job seekers.”

Jobson Medical Information and Susan G. Komen for the Cure were two of about 75 other winners for “Best Site Design,” while Kaiser Permanente and the Mayo Clinic joined HEALTHeCAREERS in the “Best Overall Internet Site” category.
