For example, on June 20, HealthYes! partnered with the St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, the official health care provider to the Round Rock Express, to support to the Round Rock Express AAA Minor League Baseball Team.

Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 6, 2009 -- HealthYes! Preventive Screening continues to work for the benefit of the community through various events and initiatives. For example, on June 20, HealthYes! partnered with the St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, the official health care provider to the Round Rock Express, to support to the Round Rock Express AAA Minor League Baseball Team.

On that day, HealthYes! screened Express staff members for five life-threatening medical conditions and diseases including: heart disease, stroke, abdominal aortic aneurysm, peripheral artery disease and osteoporosis. The private stroke risk and heart attack risk screening took place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The United Heritage Center at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock.

HealthYes! believes that educating the public about asymptomatic diseases such as stroke, peripheral artery disease, osteoporosis, abdominal aortic aneurysm, and arterial stiffness can greatly contribute toward prevention. For suffers of any of these diseases, early detection can mean the difference between a painful, costly medical crisis and the opportunity to receive potentially life-saving treatments while there is still time.
