Date:3/31/2009

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthWorldWeb, the premiere Health 2.0 social networking, doctor search and doctor review site, announced the appointment of Michael L. Millenson and J.D. Kleinke to the board of advisors.

"Having two of the most respected individuals in the industry as supporters and advisors strengthens our belief in what we are doing and also demonstrates that Health 2.0 personalization is a very real need," said Daniel Kogan, president and CEO of HealthWorldWeb.

"I am delighted to join the board of HealthWorldWeb because of its cutting-edge social networking technology, its community focus and the commitment of the company's leadership to making our health care system work better for everyone," said Millenson. Millenson is president of Health Quality Advisors LLC and the author of the critically acclaimed book, Demanding Medical Excellence: Doctors and Accountability in the Information Age. He is also a nationally recognized expert on patient empowerment, e-health and quality improvement and serves as the Mervin Shalowitz, M.D. Visiting Scholar at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

"HealthWorldWeb recognizes that consumers, patients and families seeking medical information in cyberspace need search capabilities with far greater intelligence, precision, and context than are now available," said Kleinke. Kleinke, a nationally prominent medical economist, author and pioneer in health care informatics, currently serves as chairman and CEO of Omnimedix Institute, a health care information technology research and development organization in Portland.

He added: "Those with the greatest medical needs are often the most susceptible to serious misinformation on the Internet. I am excited to lend my support and experience to this new community focused on personalized healthcare."
