HealthEconomics.Com Distinguished As Top Influencer at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research 18th Annual International Meeting
Date:5/28/2013

Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (PRWEB) May 28, 2013

HealthEconomics.Com, the global authority on healthcare value and market access, for the third time this year, was recognized by industry leaders through Symplur.com as a top industry meeting influencer, this time based on tweets during the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) 18th Annual International meeting, held May 18 through 22 at the Sheraton New Orleans, New Orleans, LA. The title of Top Influencer is awarded based on the volume of tweets containing the hashtag for the ISPOR Meeting (#ISPORNewOrleans), and analysis of each tweet’s reach. Previously, HealthEconomics.Com has been recognized as Top Influencer for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy Annual Meeting and Expo, and the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy meeting, both held in San Diego, California in April 2013.

Tweets from HealthEconomics.Com (@www_healthecon) during the Annual International ISPOR meeting provided live updates to their world-wide community of followers within HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research) on a variety of policy and research issues, including a new evidence evaluation matrix tool, multi-criteria decision analysis methods, and cost-benefit techniques, among others. HealthEconomics.Com sent out more than 150 tweets from the ISPOR meeting over 3 days. The tweets covered live podium presentations, symposia, poster presentations, and exhibit floor activities. HealthEconomics.Com’s tweets have become an essential way for the global HEOR audience of more than 20,000 individuals to be more deeply engaged with industry meeting content and to network with other meeting attendees including researchers, policy-makers, providers, and service organizations.
