HealthCare Partners Physicians Join Blue Cross of California 'Power Select HMO' Network

More than 800 primary care physicians become available to Blue Cross

members

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Blue Cross of California (Blue Cross) today announced the inclusion of HealthCare Partners Medical Group and Affiliated Physicians (HealthCare Partners) into its Power Select HMO network as a preferred provider, effective January 1, 2008.

HealthCare Partners serves more than 550,000 patients throughout Southern California, with more than 800 primary care physicians in Los Angeles and Orange County. Both Blue Cross and HealthCare Partners are committed to increasing transparency and taking further steps to empower consumers to make more informed health care decisions.
