HealthCare Partners Medical Group Expands to Orange County. HealthCare Partners and Talbert Medical Group Join Forces

HealthCare Partners Affiliates Medical Group, a Torrance, California-based healthcare organization, today announced the acquisition of Talbert Medical Group, Inc., a physician-owned medical group providing care to more than 67,000 managed care patients in Los Angeles County and Orange County, California.

Torrance, CA -- HealthCare Partners Affiliates Medical Group, a Torrance, California-based healthcare organization, today announced the acquisition of Talbert Medical Group, Inc., a physician-owned medical group providing care to more than 67,000 managed care patients in Los Angeles County and Orange County, California.

The transaction increases the number of patients cared for by HealthCare Partners in California to 750,000 and expands patient access to more than 1,200 primary care physicians throughout the Los Angeles Metro area.

Talbert owns and operates ten medical offices located in Anaheim, Compton, Downey, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Lakewood, Long Beach (2), Santa Ana, and Tustin, along with four walk-in centers in Anaheim, Compton, Fountain Valley, and Long Beach.

Keith Wilson, MD, Talbert's current president and chief executive officer, and now regional medical director of HealthCare Partners' operations extending into Orange County, stated, "Our organizations are a good fit, especially in our commitments to quality, coordinated care, and patient satisfaction.
