Health ingredients Europe Shortlisted for AEO's Best Trade Show Over 2000m2 Award
Date:5/7/2009

Held in Paris on 4-6 November 2008, HiE brought together 7328 attendees with 450 exhibitors. 20.2% larger than its previous edition in 2006, the HiE experienced unprecedented success in the exhibitions industry amid one of the worst global slowdowns ever felt by both the trade show and health ingredients markets.

"Health ingredients Europe continues to deliver no matter what happens outside of the show floor," comments UBM-IM CEO Simon Foster. "The credit rests on the shoulders of the team. Since its inception in 2000, HiE has grown from a small start-up exhibition to a major global meeting point for industry power brokers. "It was not an easy year," comments Group Director Nik Rudge. "Notwithstanding the economic climate, the third day of the show fell victim to a Parisian train strike. Despite this, our visitor numbers were up and feedback from exhibitors was by and large positive and the record breaking rebooking was the final proof."

Health ingredients Europe returns in 2010 on 16-18 November in Madrid, Spain. Hundreds of nutraceutical, functional ingredient and healthy extract suppliers have secured their stand space already, an indication of HiE's strong market positio
