Health and Human Services Professionals to Collaborate and Learn Together at Netsmart CONNECTIONS2013 Conference
Date:7/18/2013

Overland Park, Kan. (PRWEB) July 18, 2013

Hundreds of health and human services professionals from across the country will spend time collaborating, learning and preparing for the future at CONNECTIONS2013, Netsmart’s annual healthcare client conference to be held Sept. 16-19 at the Omni Dallas hotel and Dallas Convention Center.

Netsmart is the leading provider of clinical and business solutions for health and human services organizations nationwide. The annual CONNECTIONS conference engages executive, clinical, financial and other professionals from Netsmart client organizations.

Netsmart’s family of clients includes public and private sector mental health and addiction treatment organizations, social services and child and family health agencies, managed care organizations and public health departments. CONNECTIONS2013 is the single largest educational event targeted specifically for these areas of healthcare, with Netsmart clients presenting more than half the sessions.

The conference features dozens of informative plenary and breakout sessions on current industry issues like coordinated care, behavioral/physical health integration, data privacy and security, revenue cycle management and Meaningful Use Stage 2 requirements.

"Networking, relationship building and knowledge sharing are three key elements that make our clients successful in fulfilling their mission of providing quality care to millions each day,” said Michael Valentine, chief executive officer, Netsmart. CONNECTIONS2013 provides the ideal platform for all of these, and our clients gain practical information and contacts they can take back to their organizations and put to work immediately."

CONNECTIONS2013 also includes an Executive Symposium, a “conference within a conference” for Netsmart clients who serve in strategic and executive management positions in their organizations. The Symposium is an ideal opportunity for executives to network and forge new ongoing relationships that can be called upon throughout the year as they make decisions that impact the long-term futures of their organizations.

In addition, CONNECTIONS2013 features the “Solutionarium,” where attendees can see the latest Netsmart solutions and useful services from key Netsmart partners. The Solutionarium also includes a Meet the Experts area for information on current industry topics such as ICD-10, Meaningful Use Stage 2 and more.
