UCW Academy of Health Provides Solid Training and Skill Development For New Careers

Victoria, BC (PRWEB) September 6, 2009 -- It's back-to-school season, but this year, it's not exactly business as usual. Post-secondary institutions in the province are anticipating increased enrolment figures, as British Columbians weather the effects of a higher unemployment rate and a tight job market. "Health care workers are in high demand in British Columbia," says Dr. David Strong, president of UCW Academy of Health. "Recent reports have stated that employment in this sector will continue to grow even through the recession as current employees retire and new jobs are created. UCW Academy of Health offers various health care programs such as Community Health Care, Resident Care Attendant, Medical Records Clerk, and Addictions and Community Services.
