CHICAGO, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC), which operates the Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans in Illinois, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas, has been declared by DiversityInc as one of the "The Top 50 Companies for Diversity" for its fourth year in a row. Moreover, HCSC is listed as one the "Top 10 Companies for Executive Women" and one of the "Top 10 Companies for People with Disabilities."

Judges for the competition used a metrics system to review 352 applications for the awards. Each consisted of a survey with more than 200 questions and was only available to companies with more than 1,000 U.S. employees.
