Head Lice Company With a Social Conscience Defies the Recession
Date:1/29/2010

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Hair Fairies, the head lice helpers, today reaffirmed its commitment to placing social conscience over short term profit. The nationwide Hair Fairies salons offer free guidance on safe, all natural ways to eliminate head lice. The Hair Fairies website offers a simple step-by-step "Do It Yourself" guide to head lice elimination. The company believes that the best way to beat the recession is to put the customer first. The Hair Fairies approach has drawn increasing media attention, both national and local. Hair Fairies will be featured on ABC 7 Chicago's "News This Morning" show on February 1.

"I want our world to be a better place to live in, and I want Hair Fairies to help make that happen," said Maria Botham, founder and president of Hair Fairies. "I believe that companies have a responsibility to help their customers save money, and care for their employees. Hair Fairies is the Starbucks of head lice removal."

The Hair Fairies' socially responsible message has gained increasing media attention. Only last week, Hair Fairies was featured on the popular morning show, "Good Morning America." The upscale head lice salon, with a mission to help out, has also been featured on "The Doctors" with the renowned pediatrician, Dr. Sears. Maria Botham will appear on ABC 7 Chicago's "News This Morning
