Hazelden Names Leadership Team for New Recovery Center in Naples, Florida

  • Burton has been serving in an interim outreach position for Hazelden in Naples since September. She is a long-time Naples resident, returning now after having received her master's degree in Addiction Studies from the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies in 2006, and subsequently working as a counselor at Hazelden's Women's Recovery Center in Center City, Minn. Prior to joining Hazelden, Burton enjoyed a successful 30-year career in corporate technology sales.

    Hazelden's recovery center in Naples, located at 950 Sixth Avenue North, will provide integrated community addiction treatment and recovery programs with a lifestyle approach ideal for intermediate-level addiction treatment needs. Based on Hazelden's unparalleled model of care, the center will feature innovative use of technology to integrate recovery principles and practices into everyday life and work. Hazelden's program will also integrate community partners in delivery of care to reduce treatment costs and provide a continuous system of recovery support for clients at work, home, and in the community.
