Hawaii Psychiatrist Develops Radical New System of Understanding and Categorizing Personality

The Spiritual Personality System Represents A Bold New Way of Understanding Personality By Focusing On Each Person's Spiritual Potential and How It Affects Relationships, Career and Spiritual Purpose.

(PRWEB) November 13, 2009 -- Prominent South Kona-based psychiatrist Drew Ross, M.D., founder and president of Spiritual Personality, has just announced an innovative system to categorize personality. While previous systems focused primarily on behavior traits, patterns of communication or self-image, Dr. Ross’s new system is based on analysis of the deeper desires present at the core spiritual level.

“The system is not a medical or clinical service,” says Ross, a board-certified psychiatrist in practice 17 years. “A subject’s spiritual personality type has everything to do with how best to approach spiritual growth, but it also has to do with other more worldly issues such as relationships, career and communication with others,” says Ross. “The system can allow a greater respect for spiritual differences, in that there is not just one spiritual path but many. That creates an opportunity for people to reach their deepest spiritual potential.”

According to Ross, old-school systems used methods with descriptors that later became household terms such as “introverts,” “extroverts,” “dramatic” or “self-absorbed.” While these are valid, Dr. Ross also believes there’s a place for a new system that can provide detailed information about a person’s type as well as custom analysis of the challenges and options needed for spiritual growth.

In what may prove to be a controversial move, Ross has made the new system available to the public without conducting years of statistical research first, as is the norm in most medical/scientific circles. His new system was based o
