San Diego-Based Nana's Cookie Company Adds High-Fiber Line to its Selection

of All-Natural Cookies

SAN DIEGO, March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- San Diego-based Nana's Cookie Company introduced today its new line of "Nana's Fiber Cookie Bars." The new high-fiber cookie bars provide an excellent source of fiber in a moist and delicious cookie. The new Fiber Bar will complement the company's existing lines of healthy and delicious cookies and snacks made from all-natural and wholesome ingredients.

With five grams of dietary fiber, ten grams of whole grains per serving, zero grams of trans fat, 250 milligrams of omega three fatty acids and only 125 calories, Nana's new Cookie Bars offer consumers a breakfast or anytime snack with the added fiber boost to complement a balanced diet.

"Whole grains, fiber and omega fatty acids are vital elements for a healthy body. We have made it easier for consumers to get them in an easy and delicious Cookie Bar," said Miriam Diamond, founder of Nana's Cookie Company. "Nana's Fiber Cookie Bars will be another great-tasting, natural snack option that can easily become part of a healthy daily routine."

Nana's Fiber Cookie Bars will come in Apple Harvest, Vanilla Toasted Almond, Peanutty Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chocolate. All of Nana's 35 flavors and seven lines of cookies contain no refined sugar, no dairy, no cholesterol, no eggs, no hydrogenated oil, and no trans-fat and are sweetened with fruit juice. In addition to these basic "No's," Nana's Cookie Company has a line of delicious No Wheat and No Gluten cookies for those with special dietary needs.

All of Nana's Cookies are now available on the snack shelves of Whole Foods stores nationally, as well as regional outlets such as Hannaford, Hy-Vee, and Earth Fare supermarkets, and mainstream grocery, specialty, and natural food stores worldwide.
