Hands2GO(R) Hand Sanitizer Offers Alcohol-Free Alternative to Stopping the Spread of Flu at School and Work
Date:10/8/2007

LIVINGSTON, N.J., Oct. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- With the busy fall season in full swing, Hands2GO(R), the nation's first alcohol-free hand sanitizer, is quickly becoming many parent's first defense against this year's winter cold and flu season. Typically, the flu season begins in October and runs through March.

"Regular hand washing, combined with Hands2GO hand sanitizers and the flu shot are great defenses against the flu this year," said Francine Glick, CEO and founder of Hands2GO. "It's not realistic to go and wash your hands every time you sneeze or cough, whether you are sitting at your desk or at the soccer field. Keeping Hands2GO at your desk or in your gym bag allows you to keep working without disruption and without spreading germs."

Hands2GO is a convenient child-safe product that can be used around infants and the elderly. It can be used as an antiseptic on small scrapes and cuts and will not sting or burn because it is alcohol-free. It is effective in killing bacteria as well as moisturizes and conditions the hands with natural products such as aloe vera, lavender and chamomile with no sticky residue.

Schools and parents nationwide are recognizing the risk of traditional alcohol-based hand sanitizers that have caused alcohol poisoning among young children and are switching to the safer, alcohol-free alternative Hands2GO. According to the American Association of Poison Control Centers close to 12,000 cases of alcohol poisoning from hand sanitizers were reported in 2006.

While a number of start-ups have jumped on the alcohol-free hand sanitizer bandwagon recently with unproven claims, Hands2GO is the first U.S. patented industry leader and has been the #1 safe alternative to consumers since 2003. With superior effectiveness and a proven track record, Hands2GO is the only alcohol-free hand sanitizer sold in more than 5,000 retails stores nationwide including Kroger, Babies 'R Us, Toys 'R Us, Bed Bath & Beyond, Buy Buy Baby, Duane Re
