150+ Nursing Homes in California will simultaneously open their doors

Wednesday to Trick or Treaters

and the media are invited to cover the festivities

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- It's not every day pirates and gypsies visit a nursing home. Nurse administrators don't often see miniature witches and 3-foot-tall bumblebees, and little goblins rarely get to meet 90-year-old soldiers or 80-year-young ballerinas! Children between the ages of 5 and 12, along with their parents, are invited to trick or treat at participating facilities from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on October 31st. There will be treats, games, costume prizes and other fun activities. For more information call a nursing home on the attached list. "This is such a fun time for little kids," Turner said.
