HUMAN Healthy Vending Machines Headed for Wasatch High School

Melissa Milam, founder of the Heber Valley Food Revolution, and the instrumental force in bringing Utah Healthy Vending to Wasatch High School, said, “Placing healthy vending machines in our high school is a huge milestone for this community. Childhood obesity is an epidemic that threatens our entire nation, and Utah Healthy Vending is offering Heber Valley a tangible solution.”

A sampling event for the student body will be held at Wasatch High School on Monday, May 20, 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. The media is encouraged to attend. Please RSVP to Mary Palmer, 435.214.4458.

Utah Healthy Vending will also hand out free snacks to the public during the Heber Valley Food Revolution Day Fair on May 18, from 8am to 12pm, on the Wasatch High School football field. The community is encouraged to participate.
