HTH Worldwide Opens Access to Medical Care in Malawi

First to Contract with Top Clinics in Capital City Lilongwe

RADNOR, Pa., Jan. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- HTH Worldwide, a global health and safety services company, today announced it has contracted with four of the leading private medical clinics in Lilongwe, Malawi. The agreements enable global travelers covered by HTH's international health insurance programs to arrange convenient appointments for diagnostic and treatment services and to have the clinics bill HTH directly for their services. HTH is the first international health insurer to contract with these facilities.

Bordered by Tanzania, Zambia and Mozambique in southern Africa, Malawi is one of the world's least developed and most densely populated countries. It is now feeling the forces of globalization and beginning to host visits from those in the vanguard of study abroad programs and business develop efforts. HTH pursued these clinic contracts on behalf of a major university client and applied its strict selection criteria and years of contracting experience to create convenient access to the following facilities:

Partners in Hope Medical Centre
City Centre Clinic
Mars International Clinic
African Bible College Community Clinic

World travelers can visit these clinics if they are in need of primary care, radiology, laboratory or pharmacy services. The Partners in Hope Medical Center also conducts basic science in infectious diseases and vaccine development in collaboration with researchers at the University of California at Los Angeles.
