HTH Engineering, Inc. Demonstrates Creation of Easy Macros for EMRs using Dragon® Medical Practice Edition 2
Date:7/18/2013

Tarpon Springs, FL (PRWEB) July 18, 2013

HTH Engineering, Inc. has announced the second installment of their Webinar series featuring Dragon Medical Practice Edition 2, which will be held July 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm EDT. This Webinar continues their “How-To” series intended to provide clinicians - including physicians, office managers, and other healthcare providers - with an in-depth look and demonstration of the customizable macros that are now available when using the new Dragon Medical speech recognition technology.

“Customizable macros are one of the most exciting new features offered," said Joe Winner, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of HTH Engineering. “Now you can create custom voice commands that will automate just about everything you want to do in your EHR. Even if you’re only using basic macros you will save a measurable amount of time.

Building on the success of the first Webinar, HTH Engineering will provide a thorough explanation of each type of customizable macro available and how it can be used within
Dragon Medical Practice Edition compatible EMRs. Text-n-graphic macros are the first and easiest to use. These basic macros can insert blocks of text, such as boilerplate text and graphics, into any application with a simple voice command. Step-by-step macros are slightly more complex and are designed to automatically launch applications and activate menus or keystrokes including typing text and controlling your microphone for you. Advanced scripting macros offer the most complex advantages and can manage even the most complicated sequence of events within your EMR/EHR. You can literally sit back and watch virtually any function unfold on your computer just by using your voice.

“It’s really quite amazin
