The 2007 nursing educator recipient is Susan Doyle-Lindrud, a doctoral student at Columbia University (DrNP) and a nurse practitioner at the Gallo Prostate Cancer Center, Cancer Institute of New Jersey, New Brunswick. Upon completing her doctorate, she plans to continue her clinical role while seeking faculty employment. Dr. Robert DiPaola, professor of medicine and chief, Division of Medical Oncology says, "She is setting a new standard of care for advance practice nursing at CINJ."

"Once again, we are pleased that we have found bright and committed minds to carry on our healthcare system's tradition of caring and excellence," said NJHA President and CEO Gary Carter. "These scholarship recipients are a fine example of healthcare's future from an exceptional pool of candidates."
