HIA-LI 22nd Annual Business Trade Show & Conference to Feature Healthcare Pavilion and Expert Panel Discussing Healthcare Economics and Politics
Date:5/5/2010

on 2010 Health Care Reform Legislation there are many questions about health care and medical benefits for employers and employees,” said HIA President Terri Alessi-Miceli. “Our conference will seek to explain what this legislation will mean to Long Island companies and their employees.”

“Employers are concerned about what legislative changes will mean to their bottom line,” Mr. McMillan said. “With current expenditures at $2.4 trillion, healthcare spending is expected to double in the next ten years. The main thing that we want to do now is to lay out the facts of the current law and the timeline for implementation.”
