The Healthcare Pavilion
This year the conference features a Healthcare Pavilion on the exhibition floor that will be open between 9 AM and 4 PM. Exhibitors include organizations that have a direct healthcare-related connection or healthcare-related service offering for businesses.
The conference also includes a free seminar and panel discussion entitled, “Healthcare Economics and Politics,” moderated by Robert McMillan joined by leading healthcare executives to discuss recent healthcare legislation and its anticipated effects. The panel will be held between 2:30 - 4:00 PM.
Mr. McMillan is of Counsel to the Mineola law firm of Bee Ready Fishbien Hatter & Donovan, LLP, and the first non-physician on the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association. He has served as a Director of Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, is a Member of the Board of Directors of Madison National Bank and served on the Board of Directors of WellChoice, Inc. and Lumex, Inc. He founded the Long Island Housing Partnership, Inc. in 1987 and served as its chairman until 2001.
