HCG True Diet Redesigns Its Website to Differentiate Its Brand from Competitors

HCG True Diet has redesigned its website to improve the site's navigation and aesthetic quality. The new design includes a dramatically different homepage and also focuses on differentiating the HCG True Diet brand from other HCG Diet websites.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 29, 2010 -- After listening to feedback from users of its site, HCG True Diet has recently revamped its website. The site now features a sleek, modern look designed for easier navigation. Robert S. True, designer of the website, states “we wanted to improve the site's navigation and aesthetic quality.”

To achieve this goal, the homepage underwent a dramatic change from top to bottom. The header, which is the top portion of the site, was completely updated. A picture of a doctor holding an apple replaces the old images of the site's logo and a model holding a weight scale. Clinton Potter from the sales and marketing department states “I think the image of the doctor is more appropriate for our site. Our site advertises a medically monitored HCG Diet and is drastically different from a lot of the other HCG Diet sites out there; these different sites sell HCG but do not include monitoring by a doctor. We think this helps to differentiate our product and we want people to see that in our brand.” Another change to the header is the addition of four link images at the top of the site. Clinton Potter said “when I looked at the old site, I thought it could get very confusing for our users. The new links at the top are designed to provide a quick reference guide to the most important information for our users.”

Other changes to the site:

- A media page was added to feature associate HCG True Diet doctors in the news. A picture of a news clip was added on the home page as a link to the new media page.
- The topics on the home page are now broken down into separate categories and a picture was added to each category   .
- The color scheme and the background image of the site have changed.
- The fonts of all the headers were changed from Verdana to Arial.

Also, additional changes to the site are still in the works. Each page will feature a unique picture banner. “A picture is worth a thousand words” says Robert S. True, “this is why a unique banner will be placed at the top of every page to help our readers know exactly what each page is about and to better comprehend where they are in the website.” Also, a new merchandise section will be included, featuring shirts, coffee mugs, hats, bags and other products.

The new website can now be viewed at the same location www.hcgtruediet.com.
