HBA Global Expo and Spa & Resort/Medical Aesthetics Expo to Offer Full Spectrum of the Product Development Cycle
Date:4/21/2009

Co-located Events Provide One Stop Business Forum for Beauty Care, Aesthetics and Spa Professionals

NEW YORK, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The entire product development life cycle will be on full display this September in New York, when HBA Global Expo and the Spa & Resort/Medical Aesthetics Expo offers beauty, skin care, and spa professionals cross registration opportunities. HBA Global Expo will take place September 15-17, and the Spa & Resort Expo will be September 15-16, both at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

"By co-locating with this event, attendees will get a 360 degree experience of the entire life cycle of a product. HBA is where new products begin and now with Spa & Resort, attendees will be able to touch and feel finish goods and get a better understanding of its appeal to the consumer," said Jill Birkett, Event Director of HBA Global Expo. "Additionally, with the continued growth of the spa industry, HBA exhibitors will see owners and business managers who are looking to private label their own products, as well as seek new ingredients and products to place in their spas and resorts."

"We are excited to offer our community added value with the HBA co-location. The spa professionals and owners will be able to find the newest raw materials and ingredients, packaging solutions and beauty suppliers to enhance their product development plans," said Nancy Largay, Vice President, Spa & Resort/Medical Aesthetics Expo & Conference. "In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to attend both shows with one badge plus attend specific educational programs on both show floors."

HBA Global Expo is the largest product development event for the cosmetics, personal care, fragrance and wellness industries and annually features more than 600 educational and exhibiting partners. Exhibitors include international suppliers of raw materials and ingredients, packaging materials, dispensing systems, private label and contract manufacturers and testing equipment. The three-day conference program is renowned for providing cutting-edge information on the latest industry trends, new product developments, marketing and branding know-how, as well as the latest in naturals, packaging design and technical advancements.

The Spa & Resort/Medical Aesthetics Expo supports the convergence of the traditional and medical segments of the spa and resort industry. On display are the most advanced spa, aesthetic, and wellness treatments and services including skin care and rejuvenation, mineral make-up, tanning products, robes and linens, aromatherapy, injectables as well as nutritious food and beverages and spa apparel. Attendees include spa/medical aesthetics owners and professionals; estheticians, dermatologists, dentists, plastic surgeons, wellness practitioners, nutritionists and holistic therapists.

Both events show floors will feature hundreds of new products in the beauty, spa and aesthetic arenas and live product demonstrations and exhibitor presentations. Registered attendees for either the HBA or Spa & Resort Expo can freely visit the exhibit floor of the other event with one badge during the two-days the shows overlap. Admission to the HBA conference program requires a different registration package.
