HB Litigation Conferences LLC: Video of Much-Discussed Asbestos Litigation Debates & Discourse Now Available
Date:3/27/2009

CHICAGO, March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- A panel of leading asbestos litigators, judges and experts gathered for three days earlier this month in Beverly Hills to deliver a much-talked-about series of debates, conversations and presentations surrounding the most massive of toxic torts.

The video, audio and complete set of program materials are now available from HB Litigation Conferences LLC, formerly Mealey's Conferences, the producer of the asbestos event.

The conference, spanning three days at the Beverly Hills Four Seasons Hotel, was chaired by Perry Weitz of New York's Weitz & Luxenberg P.C., John Cooney of Chicago's Cooney & Conway, and Timothy Krippner of Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney, Ltd., also of Chicago.

"An engaged audience witnessed and participated in some of the most candid and passionate dialogue we've seen at a conference in many years," said Tom Hagy, president of HB. "It was especially compelling given the many sides of the issues that were presented, including perspectives from judges overseeing literally thousands of cases in California, Illinois, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas."

"Three dozen speakers contributed to what has to be the most comprehensive and candid examination of asbestos litigation at this point in time," Hagy added.

Cutting-edge asbestos litigation sessions focused on topics ranging from the value of mesothelioma cases, management of jammed court dockets, dealing with asbestos trusts and bankruptcies, household exposures, liability of raw asbestos suppliers, the latest scientific and medical information, trends in verdicts and settlements, global asbestos claims, insurance coverage, and much more.

HB Litigation Conferences is holding an Asbestos Judges Forum in New York this summer to address docket management and effective resolution of cases and it's National Asbestos Litigation Conference in San Franci
