Gulf Coast Spine Care Introduces Enhanced Sciatica Treatment Options
Date:8/23/2013

Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 23, 2013

Gulf Coast Spine Care is widely known for providing effective neck and back treatments for a wide range of health conditions as well injuries. The surgical team at this office has been treating patients with sciatica for many years, and they now offer enhanced treatment options to benefit their patients.

Long-Term Permanent Relief
With assistance from the new treatment options offered from Gulf Coast Spine Care, more patients can find long term or permanent relief for sciatica. Through the team at Gulf Coast Spine Care, patients can learn if they are candidates for a new surgical treatment. While surgery often is considered to be one of the last options considered for treatment, it is a highly effective way for patients to benefit from long-term relief of their condition, and Gulf Coast Spine Care has recently expanded their options for sciatica procedures.

Sciatica can make performing basic functions like sitting, walking and moving around uncomfortable and even unbearable for some patients with a severe form of the condition. Essentially, this is a condition that involves compression of the spine. As the spine is compressed, the sciatic nerve in the spine is pinched. This can cause pain and other unpleasant sensations to shoot from the back down to the feet in many cases. Sciatica is relived with at-home treatments for some individuals. However, other individuals who are suffering from sciatica must explore different solutions if they want to benefit from long-term or permanent relief from their condition, which is why Gulf Coast Spine Care has recently announced new treatment options to better help these long-time sufferers of sciatica.

Many patients will visit a primary or family physician when experiencing the nagging or debilitating symptoms of sciatica,
