SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Examination Management Services, Inc. (EMSI), a leading provider of mobile health evaluations, specimen collections and medical record retrieval services, announced today that it has appointed Chuck Groseth as senior vice president of sales for Healthcare Services. In this role, Groseth will foster new relationships with health plans and strategic partners to increase sales and distribution of EMSI's services.
EMSI's Healthcare Services group provides medical records, health care data and personalized member visits that help health plans and payers ensure successful quality improvement initiatives and facilitate full reimbursement from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and other payment authorities. EMSI retrieves medical records to verify disclosed health conditions and uncover conditions previously unknown. EMSI also manages a network of medical professionals who perform in-home medical assessments of Medicare Advantage plan members to increase member retention, provide valuable member services, encourage better case management, and measure and report on risk-adjusted reimbursement initiatives.
Groseth has over 28 years of experience in both sales and operations. He previously served for EMSI from 1992 to 2000 in various management positions for the Occupational Testing Division. He was national sales manager in 2000 when he left to take a position with Hooper Holmes where he served as senior vice president of sales for their Insurance Services Division. Prior to EMSI, he held leadership positions at Equifax Inc. for over 13 years.
"Given Chuck's experience and success in our core services, his leadership in our Healthcare Services segment will be vital to our growth as a leading provider of innovative solutions for collecting health information and large- scale, in-home medical evaluations through our national network," said Robert Brook, EMSI's executive vice president and chief development officer.
"EMSI has a unique combination of services, existing customers and experience, especially in the rapidly evolving Medicare Advantage market, that makes this a very attractive opportunity," Groseth said. "I am excited to be back at EMSI and to offer my experience and knowledge of risk assessment in the life insurance market to strengthen EMSI's market-leading services for the health care industry."
Groseth will work from EMSI's Irving, TX office. He can be contacted directly at (866) 770-0464 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
