Greystone Healthcare Chooses Patient Placement Systems to Automate Admissions Processes
Date:2/18/2010

Automates marketing management, reporting and referral tracking at 25 skilled long-term care locations

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 17, 2010 -- Patient Placement Systems (PPS) announced today that Greystone Healthcare Management has rolled out the Web-based Referral Management System software to automate marketing and admissions for its 25 skilled nursing facilities in Florida, Indiana and Ohio.

"We had a strong business need for a comprehensive system to automate referral and admission processes across all of our facilities," said Connie Bessler, CEO of Greystone Healthcare Management. "Without the system, we were spending a huge amount of time and manual effort to capture the business intelligence we use to effectively market our services and maintain exceptional census performance."

The Web-based Referral Management System increases occupancy and revenue for skilled nursing facilities with simple tools to manage marketing activities and process and track patient referrals better and faster. Multi-location nursing home operators embrace the system to improve census performance, respond faster, outmaneuver competitors, work smarter and significantly increase revenue by admitting more patients. Executive managers get unprecedented visibility into sales and admissions performance, with reports on win-loss, marketing effectiveness, referral source analysis, admissions and conversion rates, and more.

"After extensive research, we selected the Referral Management System from PPS," said Julie Jester, CEO of Greystone Consumer Empowerment Services. "The solution tracks the life of the referral and all associated data and documentation, arming Greystone with analysis and information that provides a true competitive edge in our census."

Bessler and Jester also noted the swift system rollout and training, with all 25 facilities and users set up, trained and using the system within just three weeks of the project kickoff.

"We're pleased that our Web-based software features and reporting fit so well with the needs of an exceptional multi-location skilled care provider such as Greystone Healthcare Management, particularly our ability to support both centralized and decentralized referral intake in the same organization," said Eric Christ, president of PPS.
