Gregory T. Kaiser, Vice President, Universal Orlando Resort, Joins Camp Boggy Creek Board of Directors

Camp Boggy Creek is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Gregory T. Kaiser to its Board of Directors. Mr. Kaiser currently serves as Vice President, Finance-Controller of Universal Orlando Resort.

Prior to joining Universal, Mr. Kaiser was the Chief Financial Officer of Lighting Science Group Corporation. In addition, he has held numerous financial and operational positions throughout his career with HD Supply, Equitable Resources, Inc. and Deloitte & Touche, LLP. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Greg resides in Windermere, FL with his wife of 18 years and two daughters.

Mr. Kaiser shared, “I am extremely honored to join the Board of Directors of Camp Boggy Creek. It’s an impressive organization with an unparalleled mission of serving children dealing with the challenges of serious illnesses.”

Universal Orlando is a founding corporate partner of Camp Boggy Creek and was instrumental in assisting with the design and creation of the Theater in 1998, one of the signature activity areas at the Camp. “We are thrilled to have someone of Greg’s caliber join the governing board of Camp Boggy Creek,” stated J. Patterson Cooper, chairman of the board. “Greg has a tremendous breadth of financial knowledge and we look forward to his service on the Board. In addition, we are pleased to have representation from one of our most dedicated corporate citizens, Universal Orlando Resort.”

About Camp Boggy Creek
Founded in 1996, Camp Boggy Creek is a year-round medical camp for children with serious illnesses. Co-founded by actor/philanthropist Paul Newman and General H. Norman Schwarzkopf, the camp offers week-long summer sessions and family retreat weekends at no charge to the children or families. Located in Eustis, Florida, the 232-acre nonprofit serves children ages 7–16 that have been diagnosed with chronic or life-threatening conditions.
