Date:2/16/2008

OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Kaiser Permanente has announced the promotion of Greg Cleary to vice president, Membership Administration. Cleary previously served as director, Membership Administration. He joined Kaiser Permanente in 1999.

In his role, Cleary is responsible for overseeing Kaiser Permanente's Membership Administration sites in San Diego and Fort Worth, Texas. These locations include more than 800 employees performing administrative and service functions, such as enrolling new members, issuing ID cards, and managing premium billing, in support of seven Kaiser Permanente Regions.

Cleary reports to Jerry Coy, senior vice president, Customer Service & Program Management.

"Greg Cleary's promotion recognizes his strong contributions to Kaiser Permanente, providing leadership for important customer-facing functions supporting Kaiser Permanente's more than 8.6 million members," said Coy. Cleary joined Kaiser Permanente as assistant director of the Membership Administration site in San Diego and was later promoted to director. In 2006, he took on additional responsibility for the Fort Worth, Texas location. Prior to KP, Cleary held a variety of positions in the mortgage servicing industry, working for both Wells Fargo and Fallbrook National Bank.
