PrimePatient is the integrated patient portal solution of Greenway's complete physician's infrastructure that includes the electronic health record (EHR), practice management and interoperability solution, PrimeSuite(R).

A Wall Street Journal/Harris Interactive Poll conducted online between November 12 - 14, 2007 revealed that 63 percent of U.S. adults agreed that the electronic sharing of medical records could decrease medical errors. Another 55 percent agree that this would reduce healthcare costs. Three-quarters of the 2,153 adults polled agree that patients could receive better care if physicians and researchers were able to share information more easily via electronic systems.

Physicians can securely communicate with patients and inform them of test results and other health-related notices. If a patient needs to refill a prescription he/she can simply make the request electronically and the practice can electronically place the order.
