Greenway Medical Technologies' PrimeLeader Conference Brings in Record Number of Customers as Company Continues Fast-Paced Growth
Date:9/17/2009

CARROLLTON, Ga., Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenway Medical Technologies, on the heels of its 11th( ) consecutive fiscal year of positive growth, announced today the conclusion of its annual PrimeLeader healthcare professional and provider conference. The conference, held in Atlanta August 30 - September 2, brought together more than 1,000 healthcare leaders, who participated in training and educational seminars designed to optimize usage of PrimeSuite 2008, Greenway's CCHIT Certified((R)) ambulatory electronic health record (EHR), which also serves as a fully integrated practice management and interoperability solution. The conference offered extensive networking and leadership opportunities for attendees to share best practice tips and techniques designed to maximize the usage of Greenway solutions and streamline the clinical, financial and administrative workflows of their practice.

This year's conference hosted a record number of attendees, further highlighting Greenway's continued and fast-paced growth. From 2008 to 2009, more than 7,000 physicians and healthcare professionals signed on to utilize PrimeSuite, bringing the number of users to 27,000 nationwide. In addition, Greenway's profitability increased 118 percent from fiscal year 2008 to fiscal year 2009.

With the passing of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and the potential for significant financial adoption incentives for those who meaningfully utilize certified EHRs at the point of care, the annual PrimeLeader conference helps equip Greenway customers with the skill sets necessary to advance Health IT (HIT) and interoperability within their respective healthcare communities, while also working to educate the practice and hospital attendees on how to receive the Medicare and Medicaid incentives.
