Greenway Medical Technologies' EHR Solution, PrimeSuite, Wins Three 'Best in KLAS' Awards

CARROLLTON, Ga., Dec. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Greenway Medical Technologies Inc. today announced that its fully integrated, single-database and interoperable electronic health record (EHR) solution, PrimeSuite(R), won three "Best in KLAS" awards in the annual 2008 Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards report. For the third consecutive year, PrimeSuite received the Best in KLAS award in the ambulatory EMR category for practices having between six and 25 physicians. Additionally, PrimeSuite received the Best in KLAS award in the ambulatory EMR category as the top rated EMR for practices having between two and five physicians. In the practice management category, PrimeSuite received a Best in KLAS award for practices having between six and 25 physicians.

The Best in KLAS rankings are major accomplishments within the healthcare information technology (HIT) industry as they are generated from information gathered by physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals that utilize and rely on the technology on a day-to-day basis.

These three Best in KLAS awards mark the culmination of a banner year for Greenway. In September 2008, Greenway's PrimeSuite 2008 became one of the first CCHIT Certified(R) 08 ambulatory EHRs based on criteria set forth by the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT(R)), including certification for cardiovascular medicine and child health.
